Cruise - Hardware Engineering Intern

- Planned, designed, and conducted tensile strength testing of different screw inserts in multiple materials to create in-house reference data for 24 different configurations

- Worked as a member of the Compute and Networking Team, to develop current and future

generations of the computer within autonomous vehicles

- Wrote python scripts to parse, analyze, and visualize data points from tensile testing

January 2024 - Present

Stanford Intelligent and Interactive Autonomous System - Research Assistant

Worked as a student research in an AI Lab under Professor Dorsa Sadigh

Stanford Solar Car Project - Mechanical Engineer

- Went through an iterative design process to create a cable actuator to be used for locking and releasing the solar panels so that they can be adjusted during the race

- Participated in the design process for different improvements and changes for multiple mechanical systems and parts in the vehicle

Donaldson Company - Mechanical Engineering Intern

- Integrated software to for the automation of the order completion and design process, resulting in estimated savings of 450+ hours of work per year, translating into 5 figure financial savings

- Led lab testing to verify supplier claims on adhesive strength on a high temperature sealant

- Began the process of lab testing to improve the field life of bearings used in a specific product line

- Verified part compliance with lead standards and reported any parts that were not in compliance

- Made design changes to current products that resulted in performance improvements. This

included initiating design updates based on my calculations

- Updated part dimensions for multiple product lines to be compliant with new safety standards

- Successfully completed my main internship project by creating a new design for a dust collector to

resolve an airspeed control problem, decreasing speeds well below the target
